Access Statement

INTRODUCTION
Our home is set in peaceful countryside and offers three guest rooms.The following statement is a summary of our provision however if you have specific questions please give is a call and we will endeavour to help

PRE ARRIVAL
We are located approx 200yds up a tarmac drive from the B3414
There is a bus stop at the end of the drive with an infrequent service to Bath and Salisbury
The Warminster railway station is 1 mile away
There are local taxi firms who offer accessible taxis if required
We regret that we are a unable to accommodate pets

ARRIVAL AND CAR PARKING
Please advise us of your anticipated arrival time so that we can be sure that we are here to welcome you
To ensure that your room is ready we ask that guests do not normally arrive before 3pm however earlier arrival may be possible by arrangement
On arrival from the B3414 there is a 200yds driveway
There is ample room to park
The surface is level and gravel there is a concrete footpath to the front door
We can help with luggage

MAIN ENTRANCE
The front door has 2 steps of 20cms high
The front door is approx 1 metre wide and opens onto a 1 metre carpeted hallway of 7 metres long.

PUBLIC AREAS
The dining room is on the ground floor and is carpeted throughout
The hallway leads to the stairs which are carpeted
There are 5 stairs to a small landing and then 12 to the first floor and the bedrooms
The stairs measure 20cms high 25cms deep and 85cms wide there is a banister rail
The house is centrally heated throughout

BEDROOMS
All 3 ensuite rooms are in the main house
Tea and coffee facilities are provided with fresh milk in a small fridge
Also provided a remote controlled television, radio alarm clock, hair dryer, toiletries, and a small selection of books.
Our beds are made up with duvets however sheets and blankets can be provided if prefered.
There is a folder in each bedroom which contains further information about the area and details of emergency contacts

Deer Bedroom
This bedroom is on the first floor

It has a 5ft double bed with access to both sides there are 2 bedside cupboards, a chest of draws, a wardrobe and a chair.
It has an ensuite shower room with a shower cubicle, washbasin and wc there is a small step up into the shower of 16cms.
The door into this room is 80cms wide and the shower room door is 68cms wide.

Fox Bedroom
This room is on the first floor

This is a family room with a 5ft double bed and a single bed (we have a travel cot if required)
Access is possible to both sides of the double bed and one side of the single.
This room has 2 bedside tables a chest of draws a wardrobe and a chair
The ensuite bathroom has a bath a separate shower cubicle with a step of 25cms a washbasin and wc.
The door into this room is 80cms wide and the bathroom door is 80cms wide.

Hedgehog Bedroom
This room is on the ground floor

This room is suitable for the less mobile but is not fully fitted for the disabled.
The room has a 6ft zip and link bed that can be configured as a double or a twin.
There are 2 bedside cupboards a double wardrobe and a desk/dressing table with a chair.
There is a small seating area with 2 easy chairs and a small kitchen area with sink and full fridge.
The ensuite has a shower cubicle with easy access a small lip of 10cms and an opening of 52cms.
The room has its own outside access and a level access to the dinning room.

GARDEN AND GROUNDS
We have a large level garden mostly laid to lawn with a patio area with tables and chairs etc
There are numerous lovely country walks.
